Boys Farm, Inc. is an independent children's home located two miles outside Newberry, South Carolina. I first went to live at Boys Farm in the summer of 1961. The home was founded in September 1960 to reach underprivileged and neglected young boys like myself.
If it were not for the ministry of Boys Farm, I do not know whether I would be alive today. Not only did the home minister to my physical needs but sought to minister to me spiritually as well. I am the only one in my family (of seven boys) to graduate from college. My daughters are both in college and have a chance at a better life because of the sacrifices made by the Shealys during my formative year.
The home is dependent on donations from individuals, business and religious organizations.
